Dear Forerunners,
As you fight across Morus Isle vying for the glory of the Mask of Immortality, you rely on the various skills, items, and features to understand how to conquer your foes. We recognize that sometimes it is not clear how some things in-game function based on their name alone, and this can be confusing for new Forerunners. Today we would like to give you a preview of some of the changes we are making to add clarity to in-game names.
Skill Name Changes:
Viper Ning
(F1) Yushan Enigma -> Yushan Strike
(F2) Yushan Enigma: Lockdown -> Yushan Strike: Silence
(F3) Yushan Enigma: Enfeeble -> Yushan Strike: Wound
(V1) Twilight Crimson -> Moonbane Control
(V2) Twilight Crimson: Seal -> Moonbane Control: Silence
(V3) Twilight Crimson: Unchained -> Moonbane Control: Unchained
Recovery Item Name Changes:
Vitalia -> Healing Berries
Armor Powder -> Armor Powder
Weaponry Chest -> Weapon Repair Kit
Feature Name Changes:
Cairn -> Remains
Trove -> Stash
The intention is that these new names will help familiarize Forerunners with character skills, items, and other features in the game. You might be used to current names but we believe these changes benefit all players. These changes will come into effect in a future update for NARAKA: BLADEPOINT and the full breakdown will be reflected in the patch notes.
We hope that you appreciate these changes as we continue to strive to make NARAKA: BLADEPOINT more accessible to players.
